As you may know I am a self taught guitarist and producer. From my experience, which was kind of hard and distracted specially in the beginning. I found out the best way to learn modes is to hear the unique sound of each. Each music mode has a strong distinctive sound, you might find this hard when you start, but with repetition you will hear it clearly. One of the best ways to practice modes on guitar is to improvise. In this guided jam I will share with you a simple chord progression of 2 chords. I recorded a loop groove and I will show you with scale and chord diagrams how to strictly play the B #Mixolydian mode. By the end of this video you will see how the Mixolydian sound funky and bluesy somehow, Unlike the parent/relative E Major scale which sounds cheerful, bright and happy or the relative C# Aeolian mode which sounds emotional and sad.

ومشاكل تانية يشهد عليها الزمن والاحياء قبل الاموات

يعني كل واحد فينا غالبا ادرك احد جدوده او حد من زمن جدوده

وكلهم حكوله ايام لما كان كيلو اللحمة بثلاثة تعريفة

وايام لما مصر كانت بتسلف بريطانيا

وانا نفسي حضرت لما كنت بنزل وانا عيل بجنيه واشبرق نفسي

كولا وشيبسي ولبان وصور لصق والغاز وعجل وبينج بونج والذي منه

المهم نرجع تاني لموضوع الاقتراحات

عشان هو ده زبدة الحلاوة الطحينية

وتفسير ازاي العدد وصل ل 100 مليون

الشاب يبقى لسه متخرج وبيدور على شغل

او في مقتبل حياته اللي هي اصلا سببها

ان الاب منعدم القدرة على التحكم في الشهوة

اختلى بالأم في لحظة اندفاع وخلص الموضوع في ثانية

عشان يلحق بعدها يتعشى ويسمع أو يشوف المسلسل

يقوم الام والقرايب..

والزمايل في الشغل اذا كان محظوظ واشتغل

والمحيطين بيه في المجتمع...

كل دول يبتدو يسلو وقتهم

ويشوروعليه انه يشاركهم النجاح..

يقترحو عليه انه لازم يتجوز عشان يفرحو بيه..

اصل هم الحقيقة نفسهم يفرحو والدنيا صعبة

فأسهل مصدر للفرحة دي انه الشاب ده يلاقيله واحدة

ويقوم عامل ليلة يكلفها كل اللي حيلته او حيلة اهله

عشان يعزم الناس دول اللي نفسهم يفرحو بيه

في من الناس دول شوية بنات عايزين يعملو تسويق لمنتجاتهم

في الليلة دي ويلاقو حد يتجوزهم بالمرة..

وفي شوية ولاد متقمصين شخصيات شافوها

في افلام امريكاني انتاج رخيص

ونفسهم حد يصدق انهم صيع ورجالة فشخ..

بس الصياعة ادب زي ما بيقولو في الافلام المحلية

لذلك بيكتفو انهم يفشخو عربياتهم ويفشخو جيوب اهاليهم

ويدفعو بنزين ويفشخو الشوارع زحمة وزيطة

ويضروبو صواريخ من اللي بتفرقع في السما

زي في افلام المافيا لما حد من الزعماء بينجح في سرقة بنك جديد

وتعلن الانفجارات المدوية المصحوبة باضواء الصواريخ

عن بلوغ الشعب قمة سعادته..

لأن الشاب خد بنصيحتهم ونفذ اقتراحهم

ودخل نفسه في وضع ومسؤولية ما يعرفش عنهم اي حاجة

لكن طبعا دي سنة الحياة وخير البر عاجله

وعشان يكمل برده نص دينه..

ودين امه.. ودين أهله.. الطيبين

لسه الشاب مالحقش يفوق من سكرة الحفلة

والمسكين حلاوة العسل عميا عينيه

وملخلخة ركبه ورجليه

تقوم مجموعة تانية من المحيطين بيه تعمل اقتراح جديد

قد يكون بالاشتراك مع جزء من اللي كانو محيطين بيه

قبل ما يقدم على خطوة النكاح.. اقصد عقد النكاح

والاقتراح ده جديد في التوقيت فقط

انما فحواه تتطابق مع اللي قبله

وملخصه... "مش هتفرحنا بقى"

يقوم الشاب اللي هو أصلا مانجحش في اي حاجة

قبل كده في حياته يكتشف ان سعادة مجموعة

كبيرة من البشر متوقفة عليه

يقوم يجيله احساس عارم بالفخر المصحوب بالتضحية

حاجة كده ميكس بين المختار المخلص

بس على حمدي الوزير في نفس ذات الوقت

طبعا معروف ومتعارف عليه ان مراة الشاب ده

هتشوف ايام وسخة خلال الفترة اللي جاية..

If you are confused about music modes and names like Mixolydian, Lydian or Locrian get you all intimidated, take it easy :) 

Those are ancient names who belong to some regions that existed 2 thousands of years ago. Modes are normal scales. They just have different notes and each one of them has a certain taste and vibe to it. 

This volume is designed for you to practice improvisation using the modes on guitar. However if you play any other instrument you can still have a good time with it. It's basically the parallel approach to understand the musical modes. 

You will have to play all 7 music modes starting from the same root note E. This will easily and quickly let your ears hear the unique sound and the big difference between all modes.

In order they are
1- Ionian 
2- Dorian 
3- Phrygian 
4- Lydian 
5- Mixolydian
6- Aeolian
7- Locrian

Like I said those names only refer to places or countries that used to play some mode in particular during their times. Start any backing track you choose, then check the scale chart of the mode you chosen.
Look at the notes and see how they are laid out all on the fretboard.

Play slowly and let your ears hear and feel each note you play. Soon you will be rocking your way playing modal solos.

عنوان الفيديو مضلل لأنه البروفيسور حسم الاجابة على السؤال بشكل يؤكد عدم امكانية التفكير في اتجاه الخلق عند التفكير بشكل معادلات رياضية علمية في مجال الجينالوجيا. ولكن هذا لا يعني انه لايؤمن بالخلق على الصعيد الشخصي ووضح ان تناول موضوع الخلق هو اتجاه فكري مختلف تماما لا يوجد مجال لتناوله في الحلقة. مشكلة القادم لمشاهدة هذا الفيديو وهو يظن ان حسم قضية ازلية حيرت البشر عبر التاريخ ويتوقع ان يجد الحل بمنتهى البساطة في مقطع مترجم على يوتيوب! هذه مشكلة التكنولوجيا عند العرب انها بدل ما تساعد على البحث وتسهله يتم استخدامها لدعم الكسل والخمول المتأصل عند الشعوب والغالبية تقفز الى النتائج في جزء من الثانية. من يقوم بالبحث الطويل في مجالات مختلفة تشمل الوراثة والتاريخ والأثار والجيولوجيا والبيولوجيا يعرف جيدا انه لا تعارض بين الخلق وبين التطور. ولكن المشكلة عند الكثير تكمن في تناول الخلق بشكل حرفي أو اسطوري كما يظن البعض انه مماثل لعمل الساحر الذي يظهر الأشياء فجأة من العدم.

if you are looking for guitar backing tracks (works if you play other instruments as well) with that sad /sorrowful/ melancholic feel then this volume will be your good friend. This backing tracks volume includes 14 tracks. Tracks are extended enough in duration to allow you sink their feel and internalize it first. That will allow you later to express your musical ideas on your instrument and create phrases, melodies or motifs.

This volume is the result of one year of dedicated work. It has been recorded and produced in 2018 and those 14 tracks are chosen carefully to cover a variety of styles. It will also help you practice relative modes like Aeolian - Phrygian - Harmonic Minor - Phrygian dominant. Here is an example of a scale map that will help you visualize your passages on the fretboard.

All backing tracks have a video version on Youtube where you can listen to the backing track and watch on screen a guide aided by scale maps and a few helpful improvisation tips. It is really a useful practice if you could plug your guitar for example and play one of those videos on a big screen. With regular practice you could take your soloing abilities and improvisation skills to the next level.
